Above is the diagram for the 1.6, 1.8 and 2.0 liter engines. The dotted lines represent belts without AC or without the power steering pump. The solid line of course is with everything. The Vitara does not use a tensioner pulley, it uses an idler pulley to apply tension to the belt.
The 1.8 and 2.0 liter engines also have an
accessory belt.
