2006-2008 Ford Escape and Mercury Mariner Belt Diagram
Removal:
1. Secure and raise your vehicle.
2. Remove the splash guard.
3. Rotate the tensioner pulley and slip the belt off. 2.3L rotates clockwise and the 3.0L rotates counter clockwise.
*Before installing a new belt, be sure to check all of the pulleys and make sure they are clean and are not damaged.
Installation:
Installation is reverse of removal.
Route the belt according to the diagram above.
Rotate the tensioner and slip the belt back on.
