2008-2009 Ford Escape Mercury Mariner 3.0L Belt Diagram
Removal:
1. Secure and raise your vehicle.
2. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
3. Remove the pin-type retainer, 5 bolts and the RH lower splash shield.
4. Using a suitable belt tensioner release tool, rotate the accessory drive belt tensioner counterclockwise and remove the accessory drive belt.
*Before installing a new belt, be sure to check all of the pulleys and make sure they are clean and are not damaged.
Installation:
Installation is reverse of removal.
Make sure route the belt properly, according to the diagram above.
